Engaged by World Monuments Fund, Community Consortium undertook a condition assessment of ten traditional buildings located within the Asante Region of Ghana around Kumasi and Obuasi in partnership with the Ghana Museums and Monuments Board and Craterre. Inscribed to the World Heritage List as being  “rare surviving examples of a significant traditional architectural style of the influential, powerful and wealthy Asante kingdom,” the objectives of the assessment will inform a comprehensive planning initiative centered around materials conservation, community building, and economic development.
