Community Consortium

Gina Haney is the founder of Community Consortium and specializes in community-based planning and design. Haney has coordinated the production of long-term conservation and tourism initiatives in South America, West and North Africa, and the Middle East. In 2008, Haney founded Community Consortium. Her publications include: “New Gourna Village: Conservation and Community,” New York: World Monuments Fund, 2011; “Castles and Community in Cape Coast, Ghana”, proceedings from the 4th US/ICOMOS International Symposium “Managing Change: Sustainable Approaches to the Conservation of the Built Environment”, Los Angeles, California: Getty Conservation Institute, 2003.
