Community Consortium

Urban Design Charette - Paramaribo, Suriname

Conservation International engaged Community Consortium to organize, facilitate, and execute an urban design charette focusing on Paramaribo, Suriname as a heritage gateway into the country’s rich interior. Community Consortium used its global network to put together a team of landscape architects, urban planners, architects, tourism specialists and local stakeholders to develop design and economic strategies for boosting Paramaribo as a cultural heritage destination.
